Transitioning to hybrid and electric vehicles is a key step in our journey to net zero for our direct operations. In 2024/25, Risoul in Mexico began this transition with a goal of a full hybrid fleet by 2028.

Given the wide geographic spread of its partners, Risoul in Mexico has relied on a fleet of over 300 cars. As part of its net zero journey, Risoul is transitioning to a fully hybrid fleet.

In 2024/25, this began with two key steps: 1) mandating hybrid vehicles for all new leases and 2) offering a car cash allowance to eligible non-sales employees.

With these changes, Risoul in Mexico has exceeded their transition target for the year, leasing 37 hybrid cars (three more than planned and 12% of the current fleet) and saving  125 tCO2e for Risoul. These efforts will expand next year with the aim of transitioning the full fleet by 2028 alongside the continued evaluation of opportunities to reduce emissions and improve efficiency.
