    We currently offer a vast range of products, including many specialist and technical items. This allows our customers to run a just-in-time operation for their indirect procurement needs, which minimises downtime and disruption.

    Thanks to our digital capabilities, distribution centre capacity and strong relationships with many different suppliers, we can offer customers wide product choice, availability and substitute options.

    Our own brand, RS PRO, is a key differentiator and lever for profitable growth, offering a great-value alternative for our customers.

    And we’re not stopping here. Expanding our range is core to our growth strategy. We’re harnessing data and insight to build out our product offer in specialist categories – something our industrial customers are looking for – while ensuring we have the availability to be the single-source provider of choice.

    Success in this business isn’t just about having products in stock – it’s about providing technical information and expertise. Whether this is shared through information pages on our website or conversations with our people, customers rely on us for guidance on specialist products to keep their businesses running smoothly.

    Suppliers value our specialist knowledge, too. They see us as an important partner, using our technical information and customer reach to market new products and suggest relevant solutions. What’s more, our ability to execute means we can distribute small volumes to customers that suppliers would not ordinarily access.

    Our customers generally require small volumes of many products for their MRO needs. We provide the expert knowledge for them to understand if these products are compatible with their current operations.

    Our suppliers don’t tend to have the distribution capabilities, or desire, to service these customers directly in such small volumes. This is where we play a vital role – connecting over 2,500 suppliers and 1.1 million customers.
