Fort Worth, Texas, 15 January 2018 - Allied Electronics & Automation has signed a distribution agreement with Stadium Group plc, a UK-based company with manufacturing facilities in the UK and Asia. Allied will be the Americas distributor for select Stadium Group products that include power supplies, cable power products, HMI (Human-Machine-Interface) modules, single-board computing (SBC) devices, and wireless connectivity devices for IoT (Internet of Things) applications.
“Stadium Group was looking for a partner to expand into the U.S. and Canada, and we are pleased it chose Allied to grow its business,” said Product Director Rebecca Weiser. “With our emphasis on industrial automation, Allied is the right partner to help build upon and develop new markets and application opportunities for Stadium Group.”
“The new distribution agreement with Stadium Group is good news for our DIY (Do-It-Yourself) customers,” said Product Manager Hank Graham. “Stadium Group is certified by the Raspberry Pi Foundation, which means customers looking for Raspberry Pi computers and accessories will find an ample supply at Allied.”
In its announcement, Stadium Group cited the major distribution presence of Allied in the U.S. and Canada and its plans for expanding across the continent as important to its decision to enter an agreement.
