Fort Worth, Texas, 20 June 2017 - Allied Electronics, a trading brand of Electrocomponents plc (LSE:ECM), received the 'New Customer Growth' award from HARTING at EDS 2017, the premier electronics distribution show held last month in Las Vegas, NV.
The 'New Customer Growth' award is given to the distributor that generates the most new HARTING customers during the fiscal year.
“We are honored to receive this award, especially after the double-digit growth we have seen consistently year over year with HARTING,” said Product Manager Megan Winkler, Allied Electronics. “Our sales teams find it easy to sell HARTING connectors to customers who are looking for quality components for their facilities and designs.”
“With the HARTING reputation for trademarks and patents for NPI, industrial automation customers turn to Allied for the latest in interconnect products,” said Rebecca Weiser, Product Director, Allied Electronics.
"Obtaining and retaining new customers for HARTING is key for our success and continued growth in North America," said Jon DeSouza President and CEO of HARTING Americas. “Allied Electronics has proven its commitment to that. We are very pleased with its partnership and are looking forward to continued successes for years to come."
