LONDON, UK, 20 April 2020 – Electrocomponents plc (LSE: ECM), a global multi-channel provider of industrial and electronic products and solutions, has promoted Mike England to Chief Operating Officer (COO). Mike will remain a member of the Senior Management Team and will continue to report directly to Lindsley Ruth, Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
In his new role, Mike will help to drive the Group’s long-term strategy, aligning go-to-market, digital and customer and supplier centric activities across the globe. He will continue to lead the EMEA region in the near term until a new President EMEA has been appointed.
Mike joined the Electrocomponents Group in November 2015 to lead the turnaround of our UK business and has been President EMEA for the last two years where he has been responsible for the commercial operation and business transformation of the EMEA region.
