LONDON, UK, 15 April 2021 – Electrocomponents plc (LSE: ECM), a global omni-channel solutions partner for industrial customers and suppliers, has been awarded a gold medal by EcoVadis, the independent provider of global sustainability ratings used by many large organisations to help support sustainable purchasing decisions.
The gold medal ranks Electrocomponents in the top 5% of the 75,000 companies assessed by EcoVadis with each company rated on the material sustainability risks and issues for their size, locations and industry. The evidence-based assessment covers policies, actions and results across the key sustainability and ESG dimensions of environment, labour and human rights, business ethics and sustainable procurement.
