  • SCHURTER awards RS Components for outstanding sales performance

    Oxford, UK, 30 August 2016 - RS Components (RS), the trading brand of Electrocomponents plc (LSE:ECM), the global distributor for engineers, has received an award for outstanding performance from SCHURTER Electronic Components, a leading global manufacturer of electric and electronic components.

    A commercial partnership has existed between RS and SCHURTER for many years, offering an extensive portfolio of high-quality components for use in applications such as circuit protection, plugs and connectors, EMV products, switches and input systems.

    "This award is apt recognition of our ongoing work to build and maintain successful relationships with suppliers," said Joanne Bradbury, Head of Product Management – Emerging Markets at RS. "The rise in sales of SCHURTER products distributed by RS this year is evidence that this strategic approach is effective in boosting growth and providing competitive advantage."
