In 2025, colleagues across the Asia Pacific region demonstrated strong commitment to community engagement through a series of meaningful volunteering initiatives.
Singapore
In April 2025, 20 colleagues from RS Singapore used one day of their annual volunteering leave to support elderly residents at St. Luke’s Eldercare Residence, a facility providing day- and long‑term care and rehabilitation. The team cleaned pantries and interacted with residents during their leisure time, learning mahjong tips while building meaningful connections to the local community.
Philippines
In October 2025, RS Philippines carried out a donation drive for Angat Buhay, an organisation dedicated to fighting poverty. 25 employees visited the flagship site to learn more about Angat Buhay’s mission and deliver food and utensils, along with other in-kind donations, to support Angat Buhay's efforts in reaching more communities in need.
China
In October 2025, 80+ colleagues from the Foshan GSBS office participated in a park clean‑up at Foshan Sanshan Forest Park, supporting the preservation of a natural space valued by the local community. Teams collected litter across designated trails and picnic areas, demonstrating our commitment to ecological stewardship and responsible citizenship. In June 2025, RS Malaysia colleagues ran a book donation to support Books For A Better World (BFBW), a social enterprise promoting literacy and sustainability through pre‑loved books. 16 colleagues also volunteered at BFBW’s Amcorp Mall bookshop, donating collected books and helping sort, organise and refresh the store. RS Malaysia is proud to help extend the life of books, reduce waste and support community charities across Malaysia.
Thailand
In July 2025, five colleagues in Thailand turned retired office equipment into community resources, extending the lifecycle of usable items while benefitting underserved groups. In partnership with the Mirror Foundation, donated computers were refurbished for remote areas to improve digital access and learning opportunities. We also made a donation to the Suankaew Foundation who redistributed the items while creating job opportunities for vulnerable individuals in the community. These contributions supported a circular economy and created lasting, sustainable value for the community.
