As RS progresses towards its 2030 ESG goals, the RS Local network has demonstrated that large-scale decarbonisation is achievable, cutting emissions by 50% in just three years through building improvements, operational changes, and local partnerships. These efforts have not only reduced carbon emissions but also lowered costs, strengthened business resilience, and created commercial value while supporting customers on their own net-zero journeys.

Every day, around 20,000 packages leave RS Group’s distribution centre in Bad Hersfeld, Germany. Each one is sealed with just a small amount of tape — but at this scale, even the smallest materials matter.

In 2025/26, the RS Formula Student Build Fund supported a record 50 global student teams with resources to design and build race cars, helping them develop real‑world engineering skills and drive innovation.
